What is it?

An elimination raffle where those who survive to the end win wine! The proceeds from the raffle go to the Friends of the High River Public Library Society to fund library equipment and programs.

How do I enter?

Tickets will be available to purchase beginning on Friday, October 18, 2024.

There are 2 ways to register.

  1. a $20 ticket plus a bottle of wine with a value of $18 (or more) pre-tax (please show your receipt)
  2. pay $39. This includes a $20 ticket and the Friends will purchase a bottle of wine on your behalf.

Homemade wine is not eligible.

Immunity Tickets

Optional immunity tickets (which allow you to “survive” until subsequent draws) can be purchased for 3 for $12 (maximum one set of 3 per entry.) If you buy immunity tickets this means that you have up to 4 opportunities (original ticket + 3 immunity tickets) to be eligible to remain in later draws.  *Immunity is not valid on the final draw date.

How does it work?

Your $20 ticket will count as one entry into the ELIMINATION DRAW. There is no maximum number of entries per person. You may purchase as many $20/$39 entries as you would like.

There will be 5 draws
Round 1 – December 2, 2024 - 20% of entries eliminated
Round 2 – December 3, 2024 - 20% of entries eliminated
Round 3 – December 4, 2024 - 20% of entries eliminated
Round 4 – December 5, 2024 - 20% of entries eliminated
Round 5 – December 6, 2024 - All other entries eliminated EXCEPT for final 3 survivors. Winners announced.

What do I win?

The value of all prizes is based on the number of entries sold. All prizes will be awarded. 

  • 1st place - 50% of wine collected 
  • 2nd place - 30% of wine collected 
  • 3rd place - 20% of wine collected
