Friends of the High River Library Book Sale

Join us at the Friends of HRL Book Sale on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30. We'll have lots of items to choose from. And even better all proceeds go to library programs, furniture, and technology for you to enjoy!

If you'd like to donate books to the sale, the Friends are on hand to accept donations on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5-7 PM and on Saturdays from 1-3 PM.

We welcome donations of:

• Hard cover and paperback fiction (novels) and non-fiction
• Comic books and graphic novels
• DVDs, Blu-ray, audio book CDs and music CDs (must be operable and in original casing)
• Recent Playstation, Xbox and Wii games in their original packaging
• Children’s and youth books
• Puzzles and board games

We cannot accept:

• Textbooks or custom course packets
• Encyclopedias
• Travel or computer/technology books published more than 3 years ago
• Books with medical, legal, or financial advice published more than 5 years ago
• Non-fiction more than 15 years old
• Magazines or specialized journals
• Software sets
• Government documents
• VHS video tapes, vinyl records and music and audio cassettes
• Puzzles and games with missing parts
• Reader’s Digest condensed books
• Burned or sample CDs or DVDs
• We also cannot accept items that are mildewed, rodent-damaged, badly stained, falling apart, or otherwise in extremely poor condition
