To search for an item go to the High River Library's website.
Click on the magnifying glass icon on the top right-hand side of the screen. Type in your search terms (title, author, subject, etc.) and hit enter.
The results will show you all of the items in TRACpac. If you want to see if your item is in a specific library, scroll down through the list of filters on the left-hand side of the screen under Narrow Your Search, you will see a section called Assigned Branch.
In this section, find "High River Library" or any of the libraries in TRAC. The list of libraries is not alphabetical, and you may have to click on the "more" button to the bottom right to view the entire list. To select a specific library location, click the small box to the left of the library's name e.g. "High River Library". The search results should now show only those items in High River's collection. If a library's name does not show up in the list, the item is not owned by those libraries and cannot be received via interlibrary loan at this time.
Next, click the "Where Is It?" button in green to the right of the title. This will give you an alphabetical list of the libraries who own the item.
If the item is in, it will simply say "In" in the third column to the right of the call number. Any other words, such as "Transferred" or "On Hold", etc. means we do not currently have the item on our shelves, but you can still place a hold for it.
